CORPORATE.....beware
man its 5th sep today.....last blog was on 29th july....how fast the time passes by u never know......especially when u have a dead line to meet...
well last 35 days had some ups and downs.....i met my family after 10 months... Am i in INdain Army or some CBI agent....NAaaaaaaaah i work for a Corporate......
Corporate....this word has become my nightmare....Corporate is no less than a politics.....all good men, bad men......strategies....budgets....musclemen flashing them....poor and impoverished like us all always taken for a toss......
Recently this August month end there was a huge target to achieve...so needless to say i have to be on field with my team. BUt the Head office guys send us bundles of formats(excel sheets with not less than 35 to fill). Its fucking month end man...let me close the month, then u make strategies for sep-oct......BUt it was NO..............u do the planning for SEp- Oct without closing the Sep.....wat are the corporate big heads upto.....whereever u are ..."rush back to office and do the assigned work"
5 days of incessant sitting infront of computer...1000 phone calls was enough to put into me what my IT frens are going through....it sucks to be infront of comp for so long.....i started questioning my engineering and engineering"...Am i an accounts guy.....
with all that hard work and planning with team and boss and long journey in train, preparing presentation in train till 4 am ,annoying the fellow passengers, laptop mouse giving up, calling ajmani at napur stationwith new mouse, fixing mouse.....2 hour sleep and then again data data and data.......(well i hopeit might help in DI....).Finally we reached bhopal on 2nd morning.....
And u know wat......nothing was asked about the data...it was fucking copy cut pasted and used for the regional presentation and the name of the sender beneath was ofcourse of the higher authority...........(it was the same feeling as in chetan bhagat "one night in call centre" story when boss sends the stuff with his name......
chalo ek zhakm laga but then we were made nude and whacked infront of whole region crowd for not achieving our Aug Targets......NOW WHAT WILL U CALL IT....CORPORATE......Sala tum hi bole ki b******* wo report banao, bhopal aao and sala u will send that report by ur name and whack us for our targets.......
uske baad 2-3 din ki wohi bhakc****. SEP OCT is our peak months....planning planning and planning...........till 4th sep when we have already lost 4 days of season and last month month end results...
i read it some where......SUCCESS= PLANNING * EXECUTION
WELL we want to be very high on planning and forget execution.......there has to be higher limit for both of them...and mathematically the result will be max when palnning=execution
PPl say that u r working in the best of organisation in the context of others in same feild. i find it all laden with flaws where we are driven by whims of a dictator or opportuninst not a system or a democracy......God knows where the organisation is heading and where are we as an individual......

First of all whether the Co. is driven by a system or whims of a dictator is of no relevance. No rules change, no govts change until they are not(or shown to be) unsuccessful.
I compliment you as you have a knack of writing with a lot of honesty. It's the same as talking to you.
Anyways, they always say "ki heera tapti aag jab tak naa jaye tab tak woh heera nahin banta" ;-).I kno wat u wld say, take that heera up.....
Also they say, to build the muscles of your brain you need something heavy to pick up.
Perhaps, politics is where u should be and this is just a training arena for you
not read ur Blog yet ..but will do shortly ..but the name attracted me ,,,who the heck is this Khurp ...then finally .....Uppal
